Does Quince Brook have onsite parking?
Yes, there is plenty of parking onsite for all guests. Cars can be left overnight at your own risk (but good luck getting back in the morning)

Is it easy to get to Quince Brook?
Yes, it is only 10 mins from Strathalbyn. It is recommended to travel on Old Bull Creek Road via Strathalbyn town centre, as it is only 6km of well maintained unsealed road - the other direction is longer, corrugated and pothole-laden.  https://maps.app.goo.gl/oc7eaevQjVx9Hoqe6

How far is Quince Brook from your preferred accommodation, Discovery Parks - Hahndorf?

Does Quince Brook have mobile reception?
Yes, it's not far from Strath and civilisation so you'll be right

I am a smoker
There is a designated smoking area outside on the Northern side of the Barn. Please be mindful of the venue's livestock and dry surroundings (BUSHFIRE RISK) and keep to the designated area beside the Northern Barn wall only, the cows don't want to smell it. 

Can I take my own pictures?
During the ceremony, no. We prefer quality pictures from our photographer who we're paying thousands of dollars over the potato-cam blurry photos you take on your phone, so please sit your bum down and enjoy the ceremony. So help me God if the bridal party, celebrant or photographer sees your phone, iPad, or camera out during the ceremony, you will have your device confiscated for the remainder of the night. All our professional images will be shared as soon as we get them

Are there specific seats reserved at the ceremony?
There will be reserved seating up the front for particular guests which will be clearly labelled. Otherwise, feel free to grab any remaining seat or standing space - we're going to be one big family

What do we do in the 1.5 hour break in-between the Ceremony and Reception?
Welcome to Happy Hour! We will have a charcuterie board and an outdoor limited bar service whilst we get family and bridal party portraits. Please note, entry to the barn where the reception is held won't be permitted until 15 mins prior to reception start. Use this time to get aquatinted with the Mobbs and Fisher families!

What will we be eating?
Riverside Woodfired Pizza will be serving up all you can eat entrée and main woodfired pizzas - sweet!

What will we be drinking?
A wide range of fine alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Of course, unlimited Pepsi Max and water on tap

Will there be dancing?
There will definitely be an amusing interpretation of it...

Can I BYO alcohol?
Unfortunately not, due to RSA laws. If you have a certain request then please let us know, or if you want to add your stash behind the bar...

Can I take home centrepieces, decorations, etc?
No. Most of the decorations are hired or we are hoping to reuse so please leave as is apart from the printed menus, named items & your stubby holder etc which you are free to take

I have a dietary/allergen concern
Please let us know in the RSVP form, so we can attempt to cater accordingly. If you don't already know (which it's hard not to), the Bride is allergic to Nuts so it will be a nut free zone, just like in primary school. 

What is the dress code?
Semi Formal

What does Semi Formal mean?
For the dudes, think button up shirts, chinos, dress pants and your sunday best shoes. If you're feeling schnazzy, we won't be opposed to a suit jacket and tie!
For the ladies, we're talking about your nicest dress or a classy pants or skirt and shirt combo. Think polished and pretty, something you'd wear to a MAFS dinner party or a cocktail celebration. Heels or no heels are totally welcome.

What colours should I avoid wearing?
White, of course, and Olive Green

What gifts are you expecting?
The very best gift we can receive is your presence at our wedding with your love and support. If you wish to honour us with a gift, may we respectfully ask for a contribution to our wishing well, it would be greatly appreciated

What will be the weather be like on the day?
We can't be so sure of the exact weather (otherwise we would have chosen the date accordingly for a perfect day) but generally it will be a nice day, mid 20s to low 30s. The ceremony space has shade, and the reception indoors is air-conditioned. It might get a little chilly at night being in the hills

Where should I stay?
Please see Stay With Us Page for our preferred accommodation provider. If you choose to stay elsewhere, we can't accommodate you on our shuttle and please don't rely on taxi or Uber to cover Quince Brook. 

Can I bring any plus ones or extras?
Due to venue limitations, we respectfully ask that only those named on the invitation attend

What shoes should I wear?
We advise you stick to the dress code of semi formal, but please be comfortable! There will be dancing and uncomfy shoes will not be an excuse for not getting your boogie on!

Who do I call in case I get lost the day of the wedding?
Please phone a friend, preferably not one in the bridal party

What do I do if something changes and I can/can't make it after I have RSVPed?
Please contact the Bride or Groom immediately 

Is the Bride taking the Groom's surname?
You bet! Get used to Mr and Mrs Fisher!
